Dear 2015 Summer Campers,
We are very excited about another summer of camp and we can’t wait for you to join us. How you develop as a player depends on your work in the off-season. My entire coaching staff, including associate coach Carol Owens, associate coach Beth Cunningham, assistant coach Niele Ivey, my players and I are actively involved in each camp session, from coaching teams to developing the camp schedule. You will learn from coaches who have been to 18 consecutive NCAA Tournaments, five Final Fours and three national championship games, as well as players who are All-Americans and international gold medalists. You will not only learn the game of basketball, but you will also be at NOTRE DAME, one of the elite universities in the nation!
Each camp addresses the needs of all skill levels.
Co-Ed Day Camp (June 8-11)—This camp is designed for the younger campers aspiring to learn the game of basketball. It is four great days of fun, filled with station drills, individual instruction, games, contests and more! Campers will enjoy the enthusiasm of the camp staff while developing their skills.
This camp is open to any and all girls and boys who, as of the fall of 2015, are in grades Kindergarten thru 6th grades.
High School Team Camps #1 (June 12-14) and #2 (June 26-28) Attending basketball camp at Notre Dame is a great way for your team to bond and develop tremendous on-court chemistry. It is also an excellent opportunity for your players to hone their hoop skills while being observed by our entire staff. Each year, we have an average of six states represented at camp, which makes for great competition. With the newly-renovated Purcell Pavilion, seven guaranteed games, air-conditioned basketball facilities and one of the most competitive prices in the Midwest, Notre Dame Women’s Basketball Team Camp is the right place for your team! *PLEASE NOT WE WILL NOT BE LAUNCHING REGISTRATIONS FOR TEAM CAMPS TILL LATE FEBRUARY OR EARLY MARCH
Ultimate Guard Camp (June 20-22) This camp will be a unique and challenging three days of guard instruction and fundamentals. Coach Ivey, a former All-America point guard at Notre Dame, as well as for the WNBA’s Indiana Fever, Detroit Shock and Phoenix Mercury, will share with campers numerous techniques and drills she uses with current Fighting Irish guards. Drawing on Coach Ivey’s strong college and professional experiences, this camp will focus on helping campers develop offensive moves, the guard mentality and leadership skills.
This camp is open to any and all girls who, as of the fall of 2015, are in 6th through 12th grades.
During my 27 years as head coach of the Fighting Irish, I have seen thousands of campers go through our camp, with many of them going on to be among my top players. If you are looking for an opportunity to spend a few days with some of the best players and coaches in the country and to become better as a basketball player, then join us at Notre Dame!
