Skills Camp Session I

The Skills Development Program will run Sunday–Thursday.

FEES:

BOARDER:  $753.25 (Includes all meals, lodging, insurance & jersey)

NON-BOARDER:  $623.56 (Includes noon and evening meals, insurance & jersey)

ELIGIBILITY:

The Skills Development Program is open to any and all entrants who, in June 2017, are ages 10–15.

PROGRAM:

An extensive camp designed for the individual player to develop within a fun, competitive and encouraging environment. On ice sessions are broken up into speed work with pucks, individual shooting and play making skills including small area games and controlled scrimmages designed to teach the game from a tactical perspective. Off ice development includes ball hockey skills, shooting range, strength and fitness, film breakdown, recreational activities and swimming. Goaltenders will receive 3 additional on ice sessions designed to teach the fundamentals of goaltending plus have specific off ice instruction.

Arrival to campus from the airport, bus terminal or train station is the responsibility of the camper. No pick up services are provided.

SITE:

The setting for the Notre Dame Hockey Camp is the nationally renowned campus of the University of Notre Dame, located on the outskirts of South Bend, Indiana, 90 miles east of Chicago on the Indiana Toll Road. All campers will reside in one of the residence halls normally occupied by undergraduate students of the University. Meals will be served in the North Dining Hall. Many of the nation’s finest athletic facilities will be utilized during each camp session, including the brand new Compton Family Ice Arena.

ROOMMATE REQUEST:

Please keep in mind that we do our best to meet all roommate requests, however, due to the accommodation limitations we cannot always meet every request, and we will be under no obligation to honor requests. There is a section on the registration form to list a roommate request.

TRANSPORTATION:

For those needing to fly to South Bend, please call Anthony Travel, the Official Travel Partner of Notre Dame, at 1-800-366-3772.  Identify yourself as attending the summer sports camps, and their on-campus sports travel professionals will research the most cost-effective flight options for you and provide invaluable consultative advice on traveling to campus.

REFUND PROCEDURES:

If an accepted application is withdrawn for any reason up until 8 days prior to the start of camp session, you will receive a refund less a $75 cancellation fee.  NO refund will be issued within 1 week of a camp session’s start date.

CHECK-IN & DEPARTURE (ON FINAL DAY):

We will be sending out an electronic copy of the camp confirmation packet, which will provide all necessary items on check-in and departure. Departure time will occur in three separate shifts ON THE FINAL DAY OF CAMP. You will be informed at check-in which group your child is in and therefore what time they will be dismissed.
