Dear Notre Dame Family,

As you know my life has been deeply impacted over the past year and half with my daughter’s battle against leukemia. Each year our team holds a Strikeout Cancer Weekend, where we play in Orange Jerseys (orange is the color for Leukemia), auction off many items, sell t-shirts and honor all the kids to who battle this tough disease. In 2011 we actually set a record of all Division I Softball programs who raised funds towards cancer. Our goal this year is to surpass that record and raise more money. Every dollar that we raise will go directly towards the Memorial Hospital Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic, the clinic where Tatum gets treatment weekly. Read More
